After a few weeks, COVID-19 hit the US and drastically changed the work environment. John and I worked out a plan to continue moving forward on the remodel while keeping both our families safe. Eight weeks later, we had a finished basement and an office with a custom desk that was not initially planned, but John was able to accommodate.
My wife and I can't be happier with our decision to go with The Trusted Hammer. Our dogs certainly miss greeting John in the morning.

John updated our 1950's master bath and did a terrific job! It's absolutely beautiful! He stands behind his work and goes out of his way to make sure you are happy with every detail. We are pretty picky, so that was no small task. We've already lined him up for some work on our kitchen!

John took on the project of converting the basement into a in-law apartment during Covid. We had preliminary plans drawn up and we worked together to tweak where necessary. Covid delayed some aspects because of the
lead time in receiving some items. The finished project is better than we could have expected. The quality of his work is top notch, no cutting corners. He removed a slider and installed a regular door and added a full size window. Because of previous shoddy work he needed to remove siding, move the deck and replce rotting wood on the exterior of the house. We now have a lovely, cozy apartment. My grandchildren say it reminds them of the condos we've stayed in in Myrtle Beach. We anticipate using him again in the spring for other projects. We totally recommend John and his crew. You will not be disappointed.
